North Dakota was awesome!
My family (the Royals), the Wafford family, and Sis. Shirl traveled to Devil's Lake to help the missionary family, the Martins. You can learn about what the Martin family does by clicking here.
Our group
We arrived on Saturday afternoon/night.
Sunday morning we headed to Fort Totten's small church. Bro. Brandon, the new pastor, taught a short convicting message. We met Sis. Joy and talked to Sis. Edna (a sweet lady who always brings her grandchildren to the Kid's Krusade). After Sis. Martin and others fatten us all with lunch, we began practicing for the Krusade that night. The Lord brought us 70 kids that night!
Everyday was pretty much the same... Breakfast at the hotel, devotions when we made it to the church, lunch, practice, playing outside with the kids, outreach, more practice ;), the krusade, we fed the kids supper, played with the kids some more, ate and then played with the kids til we had to leave.
Here a few photos...
They found a baby bird
Thomas Ramanda & I Thomas & Caleb Trinity & Abby It was so hard to leave these kids. :( I pray they remember all the things we told them throughout the day and during the Kids Krusade. God loves them so much and He died for them! When Bro. Martin asked who had given their heart to Jesus during the week, about 10 raised their hands. Thank you, Jesus!
I'm finally back home in the best state ever, TEXAS!
Bible School was amazing to say the least. I enjoyed almost every minute of it (just take out all the nights of little or no sleep :)
I was privelged to be in the school's choir the "Overcomers". School was officially over on April 19th... but those in the choir (all 37 of us plus the bus driver and his wife) hopped on the big OBI bus Saturday, April 21st. We traveled in Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Alabamatestifying, preaching and singing for youth rallies, special events and church services (we even sang at McDonald's once :) During the school year we traveled other parts of the United States. The choir goes just about every other weekend and then for about ten days during spring break as well as the two week tour after school. Choir was one of my favorite things about school!
These are some of my most favorite people! I love my choir family, my friends!
Here is just a taste of what we did....
Hope you enjoyed it! To learn more about the choir and school visit their website: OBIweb.org
